Abuja - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is
considering a partnership with Kano State Public Complaint and
Anti-Corruption Commission (KPCAC) in its fight against crime.
Osita
Nwajah, Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the commission gave the
indication when he received the Director of Kano State Public Complaint
and Anti-Corruption Commission, Alhaji Umaru Idi, at the Commission’s
zonal office in Kano.
He said the commission was willing to
synergise with groups and organisation that shared its vision of
eradicating economic crimes, including corruption.
Idi expressed his organisation’s willingness to join forces with the commission in the fight against corruption.
He solicited the assistance of the foremost anti-graft agency in improving the capacity of its staff through training.
Kano
State government established the State Public Complaint and
Anti-Corruption Commission (KPCAC) in 2008 to help improve transparency
and accountability in the conduct of public affairs in the state.
